Introduction

The Capability Maturity Model (CMM) is a possible way of determining the level of enterprises on "The Stairway to Software Excellence." It is given a collection of questions which contains four major topics with 15 areas. Watts Humphrey (picture) originally published the CMM as process maturity framework in 1987.
